Citroen has revealed its electric City Car - the Citroen C-Zero
That Mitsubishi M-iEV certainly gets around. Apart from Mitsubishi’s own version we’ve already had Peugeot’s iON version of the M-iEV electric car and now we get the Citroen C-Zero. The C-Zero is scheduled to go in to production at the end of 2010 and is another piece in the Citroen puzzle to get its CO2 emissions down across the range.

The UK and Europe have eschewed small saloon cars for hatchbacks in recent years. But in other parts of the world its the small saloon that’s big news, so many will be interested in the new Mazda3 saloon, revealed by Top Gear in Russia ahead of an official debut. Looking exactly like the new 2014 Mazda3 hatch revealed last week (there’s a shock), Mazda has managed to make the translation from hatch to saloon seamless, with proper flowing lines and no sense of a ‘notch’ grafted on the back.

New US based electric car maker, Detroit Electric, has been conducting final testing in Europe of its new SP:01 sports car.Described by Detriot Electric as the “world’s fastest production electric vehicle”, the rear-wheel-drive two-seat convertible is now nearing production having initially been unveiled in the USA and China last year. In a word, yes. Much like the equally electric Tesla Roadster, the SP:01 is built on the aluminium chassis of the Lotus Elise and as such, shares more than a passing resemblance with the Norfolk-built sports car.
